Music for All Ages

Koinonia Handbells:

The Koinonia Handbells is composed of older youth and adults.  Prior ringing experience and/or being able to read music is helpful, but not required.  We have 4 octaves of Malmark Handbells and 3 octaves of hand chimes.  Practice is on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary following the school calendar.

Chancel Choir:

This group of adults provides music for the traditional Sunday morning 10:45 a.m. worship. The choir practices on Wednesday nights in the choir room behind the sanctuary from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. and is open to all interested singers high school age and up.

Salem Spirit Singers and Band:

This contemporary praise band, made up of adults and youth, leads the music for the Salem Spirit worship at 8:30 a.m. every Sunday. The band presently includes a keyboard, guitars, and drums, but invites other instruments. The singers encourage all ages to participate. The ability to read and enjoy singing is the only requirement. The band practices at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings. The singers join them at 6:30 p.m.
